Wayne Potash's "Don't Forget the Donut!"
a new family album from Boston Area singer/songwriter Wayne Potash

The CD features a lively, entertaining and varied set of tunes with great arrangements and production. There's folk, bluegrass, rock, pop, country, jazz and more. The collection of 19 strong songs features originals penned by Potash as well as classics including "Boo Boo" by Thomas Belle and "Seven Nights to Rock" by Trail, Innis and Glover (both with new lyrics by Potash). Wayne's original tunes like the opening "Stunt Car" and "Wiggly Tooth" set the tone for an amusing listening experience. Traditional tunes like "Hot Corn, Cold Corn" and "Cindy" add to the fun atmosphere. All songs have been audience tested and are favorites in concerts and classrooms. As always, Potash's music for kids is very adult friendly. Forget about sugar-coated music for kids, but "Don't Forget the Donut!"
This is Wayne's fifth family music CD. His album "Yodel For A Fish" has received airplay on family radio shows across the country. He has sold over 5000 CDs and tapes at his shows and schools, by mail order, and through his website www.waynepotash.com. Wayne plays about 100 shows each year at libraries, schools, parks, private parties, and special events including Boston Harborfest and the Lowell Summer Music Festival. He recently wrote the official theme song for the new website kidsforheroes.com. Wayne is also on The Massachusetts Cultural Councils Touring Roster.
